Trained as an artist, architect and fabricator, my work combines computation and craft.
I am a designer based in Calgary, Canada. My goal is to help create inspiring and engaging spaces, objects and experiences.
I am currently working at the University of Calgary as an Architectural Robotics Specialist and Sessional Instructor. I also work as Director of Fabrication with the Laboratory for Integrative Design (integrativedesign.org) and as a designer with Minus Architecture Studio (minusarchitecture.com). I have a Master's Thesis in Environmental Design from the University of Calgary. My research is focused on creative applications of digital fabrication technologies, including industrial robotics.
I have extensive experience in using computational design tools to generate and evolve designs based on rules and parameters, and linking digital files to fabrication tools (laser-cutting, 3D Printing, CNC-milling and custom robotic fabrication processes) through custom software.
From design and fabrication all the way to assembly and construction, I can provide assistance for every step of a project. I enjoy challenges, collaborative work and beautiful designs and am open to all ideas and opportunities.
